Huancayo & Lima, Peru

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean is Lima, the capital and largest city of Peru. Located in central Peru, Huancayo is the capital of the Junín region. AIESEC in Peru is partnered with universities of the city to provide local ties and experiences to event participants. AIESEC US has built a strong relationship with AIESEC for Huancayo and Lima, and is anticipating more exchanges to Peru.

Programs 

Ecochange: Ecochange promoted by AIESEC in Peru, will give a reflection on the protection of the environment in which children are, so that in this way have better care of it. Activities with children's awareness of the importance of sustainability for the world, encouraging improve environmental conditions will be developed; thus we develop respect.

Main Activities:

  • Develop all project sessions, previously specified by the Host Entity.

  • Follow and execute the Job Description provided and specified by the Host Entity.

  • Read and keep in mind the S & S brochure.

  • Attend all seminars and events provided by aiesec and/or partners.

  • Pay the obligatory rate of S / .236.00 Peruvian soles.

Empower: EmPower promoted by AIESEC in Peru, is responsible for encouraging the empowerment of women in our society, demonstrating the importance of women in our environment and how they can develop their own self-esteem, respect for themselves, defend their rights and face the inequalities generated environment.

Main Activities:

  • Develop all the sessions of the project, specified previously by the Host Entity.

  • Follow and execute the Job Description provided and spificied by the Host Entity.

  • Read and be aware of the S&S booklet.

  • Attend to all the seminars and events provided by aiesec and/or partners.

Doctors Sonrisas: You will work in a special educational institution, aimed at promoting the integral development and respect of the rights of people with special educational needs associated with disability (mental retardation, Down Syndrome, and cerebral palsy) and talent, and on endowment that ensures their family and educational inclusion work.

  • Develop all the sessions of the project, specified previously by the Host Entity.

  • Follow and execute the Job Description provided and specified by the Host Entity.

  • Read and be aware of the S&S booklet.

  • Attend to all the seminars and events provided by aiesec and/or partners.

  • Pay the obligatory Trainee Fee of S/.236.00 peruvian soles.

Live and Learn: Learning and living, promoted by AIESEC in Peru; encourages teaching: 1. Languages of different nationalities, emphasizing the English language, since this is a recognized language throughout the world, so that cultural diversity and new knowledge can be promoted (Languages needed: English and Spanish). 2. Mathematics since it is an essential basis for the development of any professional career (Language needed: Spanish).
